In 2013, four moms who believed that employment is for everyone, no matter what their disability, came together to found Connect To Community, an organization based in Palatine, IL.
Connect To Community formally states its mission is to be a not-for-profit organization dedicated to finding and facilitating purposeful employment and enjoyment for adults with developmental disabilities. Further, in an effort to help these adults live the lives they desire and deserve within the community, we will provide person-centered services across all aspects of community life.
A few of the principal representatives from Connect To Community were on hand to present how their organization works and serves the community at the May 21, 2019 UPS for DownS Monthly Informational Meeting at the Fox Run Golf Links Event Room in Elk Grove Village, IL.
